Inspired by an old copper engraved map of Florence found by the designer on her trip to Italy, Firenze evokes an abstract details of the picturesque Italian city. The effect becomes pronounce upon a closer look as tiny details becomes apparent then fade as the eye travels across the rug. The intricacy of the repeated silk shapes run across soft wool trails beautifully transforms the delicacy of the design.
